Some of our Romanian Partners
Our work would not be possible without the support of our partners in Romania. We are committed to sustaining our partnerships and developing new ones in the coming years.

Partnership with Prosper Fingal

In 2010, we developed a formal partnership with Prosper Fingal, an Irish not-for-profit organisation delivering services for adults with intellectual disabilities in North County Dublin. Their support has enabled us to learn about new developments in the field of disability and support good practice in our own work in Romania. For more information about Prosper, please visit www.prosperfingal.ie
Eastern Europe Aid & Development Network

In 2009, Comber spearheaded the establishment of a Network for the many Irish charities working in Eastern Europe. There are currently over 70 Irish groups, mostly voluntary, working in Belarus, Romania, Moldova, Russia, Albania and many more countries in the region. The Network has been a wonderful source of information, networking and learning and now hosts an annual conference for volunteers and charities working in the region. The Network published a book entitled 'Going Forward Looking Back' in 2011, containing interviews with 38 charity workers who have been involved in the region since the early 1990s.
